Tongue and Groove OSB3 Boards

Tongue and Groove OSB3 Boards are a strong, reliable sheet material designed for structural applications where a tight, interlocking joint is required. Manufactured from oriented strands of wood bonded with resins and waxes, OSB3 panels offer excellent load-bearing performance comparable to softwood plywood.

OSB3 (often referred to as Sterling Board) is rated for structural use, unlike OSB2, making it suitable for demanding construction applications. The tongue and groove profile allows boards to slot neatly together, creating a rigid, level surface and reducing movement between sheets once installed.

These T&G OSB3 boards are commonly used for flooring decks, roofing decks, wall applications, ceilings, and other structural uses where strength and stability are essential. They are suitable for use in humid conditions within housing and construction projects, and the edges are factory sealed with a water-resistant coating to help reduce the risk of edge swelling.

Thanks to the resin binders and waxes used during manufacture, OSB3 is tolerant of moisture and humidity. However, it is not recommended for permanent external exposure unless adequately protected and covered as part of a complete building system.
