Premium Treated Grooved & Smooth Decking Boards – 32mm x 125mm offer a durable and attractive solution for creating long-lasting outdoor decking areas. Manufactured from quality softwood and pressure treated using a copper-based preservative, these decking boards are engineered to deliver enhanced protection against rot and decay.
The premium pressure treatment process allows the preservative to penetrate deeper into the timber, helping to achieve a longer service life. With correct installation and regular maintenance, these decking boards can last up to 25 years, making them a reliable choice for both domestic and professional decking projects.
Featuring a grooved face on one side and a smooth face on the other, these boards provide flexibility in appearance and grip depending on your preference. They can be stained to achieve your desired finish or left untreated to weather naturally over time.
When first treated, softwood decking has a green appearance. As the timber weathers, salting (white surface deposits) may appear. This is a normal and natural part of the pressure treatment process and is a sign of quality. Over time, the salting will wash away and the colour will mellow to a warm, natural tone.
These premium decking boards are suitable for Use Class 3 and Use Class 4 applications, meaning they can be used in above-ground and ground contact situations when installed correctly. Boards can be fixed using standard externally rated decking screws or nails, or with compatible hidden fixing systems.
For best long-term performance, all cut ends should be sealed with a suitable wood preservative, and the decking should be washed down periodically with a mild detergent and stiff brush to help extend its lifespan.
