Rustic Oak Shelves

Nottage Timbers Rustic Oak Shelves are machined from solid oak, not MDF, softwood-cored, or veneered chipboard. These solid oak boards naturally display character, so shakes, cracks, and splits may be visible in the final product. Our experienced joinery team carefully selects boards to achieve the desired level of "rustic-ness," balancing visual character with structural integrity.

It takes skilled craftsmanship to distinguish between cosmetic and structural features. While the rustic aesthetic is part of the charm, all shelves are checked to ensure they are fit for purpose and will support typical household use.

Please note: As these are natural products, the finished piece may vary from any images shown online or in promotional material. Splits, cracks, voids, and knots are inherent in the rustic nature of the product. The dimensions provided online are nominal sizes; finished dimensions are typically 5mm smaller on each surface but can vary up to 10mm depending on machining. For example, a nominal 50mm x 200mm shelf may finish between approximately 40mm x 190mm and 45mm x 195mm.
