While the engineered construction means a fine joint will be visible where the solid outer faces meet, these joints are carefully grain-matched and tightly finished. Once installed and finished, they are typically barely noticeable, but are disclosed for full transparency.

This engineered oak handrail can be finished in exactly the same way as solid oak, including oiling, staining, or varnishing. As with all oak products, it is recommended to test finishes on an off-cut or hidden area prior to full application.
