43mm x 43mm ThermoWood-D Pine L Shape Corner Trim is a premium external trim designed to provide a clean, professional finish to external cladding installations. Ideal for finishing external corners, window reveals, and façade details, this L-shaped trim complements ThermoWood cladding systems while offering long-term durability and stability.

Manufactured from Finnish-grown pine using the ThermoWood® heat treatment process, this corner trim is produced by heating the timber to temperatures in excess of 200°C using only heat and steam. This permanently alters the timber’s cellular structure, significantly improving resistance to decay, moisture movement, and warping without the use of chemical preservatives. The result is a low-maintenance, environmentally responsible timber product suitable for exposed external applications.

The appearance of ThermoWood-D pine varies depending on treatment temperature, with higher temperatures producing a deeper, darker tone. If left untreated, the trim will naturally weather to a silver-grey finish, or it can be coated to retain its original colour and extend service life.

Uncoated ThermoWood-D pine can achieve a 30-year service life when installed correctly. When a surface coating is applied and maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, a 60-year service life can be achieved. ThermoWood-D has a durability class 2 (durable) rating in line with EN 113.
