25mm x 125mm ThermoWood-D Pine PMV Embossed Cladding is a high-performance, low-maintenance timber cladding designed for demanding external applications. Manufactured from Finnish-grown pine using the ThermoWood® heat treatment process, this cladding offers exceptional durability, stability, and a refined contemporary appearance.

ThermoWood-D is produced by heat treating timber at temperatures exceeding 200°C, using only heat and steam. This process permanently alters the timber’s cellular structure, significantly improving resistance to decay, moisture movement, and warping without the use of chemical preservatives. The result is a naturally durable and environmentally responsible cladding material, ideal for external walls, façades, garden buildings, and exposed elevations.

The PMV embossed profile provides a subtle textured finish, adding visual depth while maintaining a clean, modern look. Colour varies depending on treatment temperature, with higher temperatures producing a darker, richer tone. If left untreated, the timber will weather naturally to a silver-grey finish, or it can be coated to retain its original colour.

Uncoated ThermoWood-D pine cladding can achieve a 30-year service life when installed correctly. If a surface coating is applied and maintained in line with manufacturer guidance, a 60-year service life can be achieved. ThermoWood-D has a durability class 2 (durable) rating in accordance with EN 113.
