Fitting and handling

Before fixing, store the boards flat in the room where they will be installed and allow at least 48 hours for acclimatisation, particularly in rooms with underfloor heating or variable temperature. Fix through the tongue at an angle using lost-head nails or a suitable staple gun, keeping fixings concealed as each board slots over the next. Once fitted, the surface accepts paint, stain, oil or varnish, so apply your chosen finish promptly to help protect the timber and maintain a consistent appearance.

This product is supplied untreated and is intended for dry interior use. In rooms with occasional moisture, such as a kitchen, it can be used if sealed thoroughly on all faces and edges with a suitable waterproof finish before installation. It is not recommended for areas of high or prolonged humidity such as wet rooms or steam rooms without additional protection measures.
