A timber yard is not the most obvious thing to put on the internet. For years, ordering from us meant one of two things: a phone call, or a trip down to the yard at Pyle to point at what you wanted and load it into the van. That worked fine. Still does.
But not everyone can get down during opening hours, and not every job waits until you're free on Saturday morning. So we put the yard online. Same timber, same prices, same advice if you ring and ask. Only now you can sort it from the site whenever it suits.
Here's how it works.
Browse and order online. Decking, sheet gootimbds, cladding, fencing, sleepers, mouldings, fixings, the lot. What's on the site is what we stock. Add it to the basket, check out, done.
Delivery or collection, your choice. We deliver across South Wales, so if you're local, we'll bring it to the job. If you'd rather grab it yourself, order online and collect from the yard in Pyle when you're passing. No queuing at the counter, it'll be ready.
Not sure how much you need? If you're pricing up a deck, use the decking calculator. Put in your measurements and it works out roughly what boards, joists and fixings the job needs, so you're not guessing or over-ordering.
One honest note on delivery. We're a South Wales merchant, not a national one. If you're miles away, collection or a courier for the smaller stuff is usually the sensible route. You're always welcome to ring and we'll tell you straight whether we can help. We'd rather say so than take an order we can't deliver properly.
The website itself runs on Shopify, and an old contact of ours keeps us showing up on Google, which is why more people find the yard online these days instead of driving past it.
